Please tell us about your family, interests, and hobbies.

I live in Parker, Colorado with my sweet and faithful sidekick Fiona, a Boxer dog. My mom moved in with me a few years ago and it’s been really nice spending so much time together. I’ve participated in 4 sprint triathlons but as I get older, a 5K is more in my appetite. I also love volunteer work, having coached Special Olympics adult athletes in softball and basketball over the years, as well as being a mentor through the Big Sisters Program in Colorado. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, being a die hard fan of the Denver Broncos, taking Fiona on long walks (where we must stop under every shade tree), and working in the yard.

How long have you worked for PartnerOne and what are your job responsibilities?

I’m approaching 10 years working as an underwriter at PartnerOne Environmental. I had worked with Beacon Hill as an underwriter and when the opportunity arose to come to PartnerOne, I jumped and have really enjoyed that decision. We started the Colorado office in August 2011 and have added staff over the years. I underwrite some of the larger renewal accounts, mostly in the NY and the upper east coast areas. I also work on new business submissions for environmental contractors and consultants all across the country. As a longtime member of the staff, I also mentor some of the newer underwriters, helping navigate some of the more complex areas of underwriting.

What do you like most about your job?

We have fun at PartnerOne!  I consider my coworkers to be friends and we genuinely care about each others’ lives. That camaraderie really translates to a team atmosphere. Our goals are group goals and when one person has success, we celebrate as a unit. The other thing I really like is that every account is a little different and makes our work interesting. I enjoy discussing risks with brokers and learning more about the innovative environmental risks in the world.
